The Eta Carina Nebula
NGC 3372, the second brightest nebula in the sky after the great Orion Nebula. This nebula is visible to the naked eye from the South hemisphere and host the hypergiant star Eta Carina, the most likely candidate in our galaxy to become a hypernova.
